Source abstract

Incorrect wavelets can distort the result of sparse-spike reflectivity inversion. We have developed a novel deconvolution scheme which alternatively estimates the wavelet and the reflectivity, with L1/2 norm as the sparsity constraint. The experiment on simulated data shows that the proposed method can recover well the wavelet and the reflectivity, even when the seismic data are corrupted by noise.
