The monograph examines the mathematical signature as a method for analyzing and predicting the sustainability of innovative strategies for interaction between the national economies of Russia and the SCO countries. The first chapter discusses the problem of modeling the system-integrated justification of fundamental research on the innovative development of the national economies of Russia and the SCO countries. The historical, evolutionary-institutional, theoretical-model and system-complex justifications of the fundamental research of innovative development of national economies of Russia and the SCO countries are considered. Special attention is paid to the concept of sustainability of innovative strategies for the interaction of national economies based on signature characteristics in conditions of economic turbulence as a source of technological renewal and structural reorganization of the economy. The second chapter is devoted to the formation and methodological justification of signature analysis as a tool for researching innovation processes in international cooperation. The third chapter is devoted to forecasting innovation activity and assessing the effects of Russia's cooperation with the SCO countries based on the signature approach. The fourth chapter is devoted to modeling international interactions in the innovation sphere in the SCO space. The fifth chapter is devoted to the long-term forecasting of Russia's innovative development in the context of cooperation with the SCO countries. It is shown that long-term forecasting of Russia's innovative development in the context of cooperation with the SCO countries requires not a general comparison of partner countries, but the construction of a spatial and sectoral model in which the external space is considered as a set of heterogeneous cooperative contours. It is revealed that the scenario testing of the signature model makes it possible to move from the basic diagnosis of Russia–SCO contours to an assessment of their possible behavior in various modes of the external and institutional environment. It is established that the developed model system has sufficient accuracy, structural validity and robustness for use in the tasks of long-term forecasting of Russia's innovative development in the SCO contour.
