This study determined the relationship between engagement, attitude, and academic performance in mathematics of 383 first-year Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering students at a private college in the Negros Island Region enrolled during the first semester of the academic year 2026- 2027. Standardized questionnaires were utilized to measure the engagement and attitude of students towards Mathematics. The result showed that the First-year Marine Engineering students are highly engaged in mathematics, possess positive attitudes toward mathematics, and achieved a passing level of performance in mathematics. The findings also revealed that there is no significant relationship between students' engagement and their academic performance in mathematics. However, there is a significant relationship between the students' attitude toward mathematics and their performance in mathematics and between their engagement and attitude toward mathematics.
