The Bay of Bengal is a vital source of life and income for millions. The future of the fishing industry is becoming increasingly insecure as rising salinity gets deeper into our coastlines due to climate change. By using mathematical modeling, this study looks ahead and predicts what’s in store for our marine resources. We introduce a bioeconomic model by considering environmental stressors like salt intrusion to analyze how fish populations respond to these changing conditions over time. Our model establishes a relation between biological growth rates and economic harvesting variables under linear environmental stress. This work demonstrates that while salinity rises, our current fishing habits will predictably hit a "tipping point" where fish stocks can no longer rehabilitate themselves, which raises a concern about their survival in the long term. Our main objective is to establish a future projection that predicts the adjustment of our fishing efforts in real time and secures the Bay of Bengal as a productive habitat for its wildlife and a dependable livelihood for the hardworking coastal communities.
