The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in education is transforming the planning and delivery of learning processes. Traditional learning planning often faces challenges in meeting diverse learning needs, maximizing the use of resources and maintaining continuous adaptability to changing learning environments. Systems powered by artificial intelligence offer cutting-edge solutions using machine learning, predictive analytics and smart algorithms to assess learning data, predict learning patterns and propose tailor-made learning methods. These technologies help educators to create adaptive curricula, improve the organization of lessons and provide feedback quickly, thus promoting inclusive and learner-centered education. In addition, AI-based tools such as smart learning systems, natural language processing applications and adaptive learning platforms improve decision-making and create opportunities for data-driven learning design. Despite obstacles related to ethical issues, data management and digital readiness of stakeholders, the integration of AI into learning planning offers significant opportunities for increased efficiency, participation and outcomes. This paper explores the use of artificial intelligence-driven technologies to improve planning in teaching and learning, and highlights their transformative effects and their importance for sustainable learning.
