The relevance of the study is determined by the prospects for the practical use of electromagnetic seismic sources in shallow seismic exploration, as well as the need to improve the methods of their dynamic calculation. The object of the study is an adjustable electromagnetic drive of a seismic source with an elastic striker reverser. The main objective of the research is to create a more accurate mathematical model of the electromagnetic drive of a seismic source. Based on the equation of the electrical state of the system and the Lagrange equations of the second kind, a refined mathematical model of the dynamics of an electromagnetic drive has been developed in the form of a system of differential equations taking into account the interaction of inertial masses connected by elastic links. The model takes into account the nonlinear properties of the structural materials used, as well as leakage fluxes, and various types of energy losses in the electromechanical system. Using the model allows for the analysis of the dynamic state of an electromagnetic seismic source over a wide range of input parameters and improves the design quality. The results of the presented research may be of particular interest to specialists in the field of calculation and design of electromagnetic pulse impact power systems.
