Abstract This chapter is devoted to highlighting aspects of the development of technologies based on artificial intelligence (AI) models and their current use. Special attention is paid to the role of AI in creativity and intellectual property. It is noted that AI can act as a tool directly involved in the creative process aimed at creating a new intellectual property object and also as a creator of intellectual property. This chapter highlights the research areas in which AI models are used, as well as the related perspectives. Aspects of the application of AI technologies are presented, including economic, technical, organisational and innovative aspects. This chapter summarises and describes the areas of application of AI, particularly in marketing, sales, logistics, legal services, digital technologies, finance and healthcare. The authors pay particular attention to the safe use of AI systems. They point out the risks and the need for users to respond appropriately.
