Source abstract

This essay is different from what I'm used to writing. By a lot. I feel as though I'm at my best when doing cultural commentary, or web development, but I've never really written about pure mathematics. I love mathematics, and there is such beauty to be found in the field. Some of the best examples of this are Grant Sanderson's animated explanations. Mathematics is not a catalogue of facts to memorize, but a way of seeing.
