Abstract This correlational study aims to determine the effect of learning interest forwards in mathematics achievement in Junior High School students PGRI Kota Bengkulu. The sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique with consist12 student, grade VII, which is 5 boys and 7 girls. The data is collected by using a questionnaire and documentation. Then, the data is analysed using correlation analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it is concluded that students’ interest in learning has a positive effect on mathematics achievement.
