This research essay examines Kazakhstan's efforts to integrate STEM education, including mathematics, into its national education system. The country has undertaken a number of initiatives, including the establishment of specialized schools for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, teacher training programs, and a new national curriculum that focuses on the teaching and learning of subjects related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. To assess the effectiveness of a country’s efforts, the paper uses a literature review, SWOT analysis, and statistical analysis. The literature review examines previous studies on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education and its impact on students’ academic and career success. The SWOT analysis shows the use of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in mathematics education in Kazakhstan. Finally, the statistical analysis evaluates trends and patterns in the use of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in mathematics education based on available data. The research paper concludes that Kazakhstan's efforts to reform its education system and integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education into its curriculum are promising. However, further efforts are needed to address challenges such as teacher shortages and uneven access to resources to ensure the success of STEM education in the country. The results can serve as a reference for policymakers and educators in Kazakhstan and other countries looking to improve their education systems through the integration of STEM subjects
