Source abstract
Transportation of hazardous liquids often passes through densely populated areas, often in different weather conditions and on roads with damaged surfaces, which increases the risk of accidents and leaks. In the event of a spill or explosion, pollutants can enter the soil, atmospheric air, surface and groundwater, leading to significant economic damage. The paper proposes a model that describes the phenomenon of splashing in a tanker truck subjected to longitudinal, transverse and vertical accelerations. The model allows you to determine the natural splash frequencies and waveforms, resonant conditions during braking and turning, dynamic pressure loads acting on the tank walls, critical acceleration modes that affect the safety of transportation. The research will contribute to the creation of new and improvement of existing forensic examination methods.
