This chapter explores elementary school students' financial literacy, focusing on their challenges in managing pocket money, distinguishing between needs and wants, and setting priorities. The study objective is to assess the impact of role-playing on fifth-grade students' financial literacy. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design was used. The participants of this study consisted of 30 students from a public elementary school. The data was collected using a financial literacy test administered before and after the experiments. The findings indicated that students' financial literacy improved from an average score of 54.33 on the pretest to 82.67 on the posttest. The t-test showed a significant value of 0.00, which is less than 0.05, indicating a statistically significant effect of the role-playing method on fifth-grade students' financial literacy. This study suggests that the role-playing method has been significantly effective in improving students' financial literacy by offering a contextual teaching and learning approach.
