Source abstract

Following Johnson, Queen, and Sevilla, we call an order O\mathcal{O} in a number field KK \textsf{generalized Euclidean} if for all α,β∈Oα,β\in \mathcal{O} with β≠0β\ne 0 for which αO+βOα\mathcal{O}+β\mathcal{O} is a principal ideal of O\mathcal{O}, there are γ,ρ∈Oγ, ρ\in \mathcal{O} with α=βγ+ρα=βγ+ ρ and ∣NK/Q(ρ)∣1|N_{K/\mathbb{Q}}(ρ)| 1 there are only finitely many integers mm for which Td−mT^d-m is irreducible over Q\mathbb{Q} and Z[m1/d]=Z[T]/(Td−m)\mathbb{Z}[m^{1/d}] = \mathbb{Z}[T]/(T^d-m) is generalized Euclidean. When dd is even, we can remove the assumption of GRH.
