In modern conditions of information technology development, a high level of mathematical culture is becoming an essential component of the professional competence of IT specialists. Mathematical culture provides the ability to analyze complex problems, form algorithmic thinking and apply mathematical methods in professional activities. The article analyzes the theoretical aspects of mathematical culture, its connection with professional competencies, as well as the importance of integrating mathematical education with IT disciplines. Approaches to the formation of mathematical culture in higher education and its impact on the specialist's willingness to solve practical problems are considered.
