Source abstract

The article presents a concept of relationships in the Arctic marine ecosystem of low productivity. The formalization of the minimum required number of connections between ecosystem components in the form of differential equations with a nonlinear right-hand side is presented as a dynamic model for four variables: phytoplankton, zooplankton, nitrates and organic matter. A comparative analysis of model implementations with observational data is carried out. The results obtained made it possible to conduct numerical experiments on variations in external influences simulating anthropogenic stress on a low-productivity ecosystem at various intervals of its seasonal functioning. The results showed the effectiveness of modeling for predicting the ecosystem's response to external influences.
