Source abstract

This paper introduces a novel framework for bounded intuitionistic fuzzy sets using lower and upper threshold parameters. Unlike classical cut-set approaches, the proposed method preserves membership and non-membership degrees while restricting the universe. Fundamental algebraic properties and set-theoretic operations are investigated, and applications to intuitionistic fuzzy subgroup theory are presented. The results show that subgroup properties are retained within the bounded structure. This framework provides a flexible and effective tool for analyzing intuitionistic fuzzy systems.
