O uso de blocos visuais na disciplina de Matemática: uma revisão sistemática da literatura

This systematic review aimed to identify in which areas of mathematics visual blocks have been applied, as well as analyze their development and evaluation in terms of content comprehension and student engagement. The search was conducted in the Scopus database, resulting in 33 documents, of which 8 were selected based on reading the abstracts. Data extraction considered the tools used, study objectives, areas of knowledge, target audience and sampling, methodologies adopted, assessment instruments, and data analysis methods. The results indicate that the use of visual blocks positively contributes to both learning and increased student motivation.
