Source abstract

The kk-color Ramsey number of a poset PP is the smallest dimension dd such that any kk-coloring of the dd-dimensional Boolean lattice contains a monochromatic induced copy of PP. For j≥2 j\ge 2 the jj-diamond is the poset that consists of a maximum element, a minimum element and an antichain of size jj. We prove that the kk-color Ramsey number of the jj-diamond is at most jkjk. Colorings of the Boolean lattice that assign sets of the same size the same color provide matching lower bounds for j∈{2,3,4}j \in \{2,3,4\}.
