Source abstract

Let CC be a separating real algebraic curve of genus gg whose real locus consists of rr components and let S=Sep(C)S=\mathrm{Sep}(C) be its separating semigroup. An element δ∈Sδ\in S is called extendable if δ+N0r⊂Sδ+\mathbb N_0^r\subset S, where N0={n∈Z∣n≥0}\mathbb N_0=\{n\in\mathbb Z\mid n\ge 0\}. We prove that an element of SS is extendable if it is realizable by a separating mobile divisor of degree gg and projective rank 1.
