This article explores innovative approaches to teaching higher mathematics in the context of modern educational transformation. The relevance of the topic is determined by the growing demand for new methods of mathematical instruction that meet the requirements of digitalization and interdisciplinary integration. The purpose of the study is to identify effective strategies for enhancing student engagement and comprehension in higher mathematics courses. The research methodology is based on the analysis of pedagogical practices, including the implementation of interactive learning, gamification, project-based tasks, and digital tools. Special attention is paid to the use of mathematical software such as GeoGebra, Mathematica, and Wolfram Alpha, which enables students to visualize abstract concepts and develop practical problem-solving skills. The study reveals that the transition from traditional lecture-based instruction to active learning formats significantly increases student motivation, fosters teamwork, and strengthens their ability to apply mathematical knowledge in real-life scenarios. The integration of collaborative learning and visual materials also contributes to the improvement of educational outcomes. The results demonstrate the necessity of incorporating interdisciplinary elements into the curriculum, particularly in combining mathematics with physics, economics, and computer science. Such an approach helps students grasp theoretical material more thoroughly and apply it in professional practice.Furthermore, the development of students' critical thinking, self-organization, and mathematical modeling abilities is enhanced through interactive and technology-supported environments. The practical value of this article lies in its applicability to university educators and curriculum developers seeking to modernize mathematics education. It provides a comprehensive overview of contemporary teaching techniques and emphasizes the importance of aligning educational content with the competencies required in the digital age.
