The rapid development of science and technology has significantly transformed access to information, requiring learners to possess the ability to effectively obtain, select, and utilize information in meaningful ways. In mathematics education, this transformation necessitates the integration of innovative learning tools that not only support conceptual understanding but also enhance students’ critical thinking and numeracy literacy. This study aims to develop digital inquiry-based student e-worksheets integrated with AI-supported learning analytics to improve critical thinking skills in fraction learning at the elementary level. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, consisting of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The product was tested on fifth-grade students, involving one control class (12 students) and one experimental class (25 students). The results indicate that the developed digital worksheets are effective in enhancing students’ critical thinking skills, as reflected by group performance scores of ≥ 80 across all critical thinking indicators. Furthermore, the integration of inquiry learning with AI-supported analytics provides adaptive feedback and supports students’ engagement during the learning process. It can be concluded that the development of AI-assisted inquiry-based digital worksheets is capable of creating an interactive, data-informed learning environment and significantly contributes to improving students’ critical thinking and numeracy literacy in elementary mathematics.
