The aim of this study is to examine the magnetohydrodynamic bioconvective flow of Maxwell fluid influenced by microorganism decay and thermal stratification parameter. The governing equations are transformed into dimensionless form using appropriate similarity transformations, and then numerically solved using the bvp4c method. The findings demonstrate the importance of suction Reynolds number, decay parameter, stratification effect, and other distinctive characteristics in influencing boundary layer behavior. The analysis shows that increasing the Deborah number reduces fluid velocity and shear stress, whereas increasing the radiation parameter lowers the thermal boundary layer. Higher Reynolds reduces species concentration, but increasing the thermal decay parameter decreases motile microbe density. Furthermore, differences in skin friction, mass transmission’s rate, and density number are quantified. Overall, the results demonstrate the current model’s stability and applicability to industrial processes and energy-related applications.
