Source abstract

The manual contains tasks of the section “Discrete mathematics” from the variants of the Universiades in applied mathematics and computer science, as well as from entrance examinations for the master's degree programs, conducted by the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2015-2020. The introduction describes the Universiades and entrance examinations procedure. The first chapter contains tasks for self-solution; the second one contains answers to those tasks. The final chapter contains similar tasks with solutions and answers. The manual may be useful for final year undergraduate and specialist students planning to enter a master's degree programs in the field of “Applied Mathematics and Computer Science”, as well as in preparation for the State Final Certification.
