Source abstract

Let kk be a perfect field of characteristic p>0p>0. We prove that if a pp-torsionfree ring RR, defined by homogeneous equations over W(k)W(k), admits a perfectoid tower arising from (R,(p))(R,(p)), then its special fiber is FF-liftable. We also give explicit examples admitting no such tower, including examples with FF-liftable special fibers.
