Source abstract

The aim of the study is to develop a logical-algebraic model for generating technological recommendations in the quality control of composite coatings. The proposed approach integrates microstructural image analysis, a formalized knowledge base built on predicate logic, and multi-criteria optimization to select optimal process parameters. Experimental validation was carried out on scanning electron microscopy images of nickel-aluminum coatings. The results demonstrated high accuracy in automatic defect diagnosis and the effectiveness of the model in ranking technological solutions. The significance of the work lies in bridging the gap between automated structural analysis and practical recommendations for process management, ensuring transparency and provability of conclusions and providing a foundation for the implementation of intelligent and adaptive decision support systems in manufacturing.
