Source abstract

For each positive integer NN, let pip_i be the ii-th prime for i∈{1,…,N}i\in\{1,\ldots,N\}, and set ΦN={∏i=1Npiai:ai∈{0,1,…,N−1}}. Φ_N=\left\{\prod_{i=1}^{N}p_i^{a_i}:a_i\in\{0,1,\ldots,N-1\}\right\}. Write f(N)f(N) for the largest cardinality of a subset of ΦNΦ_N containing no two distinct legs of an integral right triangle. We prove NN−1(log⁡log⁡log⁡N)≪f(N). N^{N-1}(\log\log\log N)\ll f(N).
