Source abstract

Let ππ be a genuine irreducible cuspidal automorphic representation of the nn-fold cover SL2(n)(A)SL_2^{(n)}(\mathbb{A}) of SL2(A)SL_2(\mathbb{A}), n≥3n \geq 3 odd, and let ττ be the genuine representation of GL1(n)(A)GL_1^{(n)}(\mathbb{A}) obtained from a unitary Hecke character of A×\mathbb{A}^\times. We prove that, for a certain choice of data, a new way integral for SL2(n)(A)SL_2^{(n)}(\mathbb{A}) represents the partial LL-function LS(ns+12,π×τ)L^S(ns+\tfrac12,π\timesτ). The integral is derived from the generalized doubling integral of Cai, Friedberg, Ginzburg and Kaplan, following the idea of Ginzburg and Soudry.
