Source abstract

This study investigates the influence of variable viscosity and slip velocity on flow rate, resistance to flow, and wall shear stress within a specific range of parameters. A two-layered model is developed, where the core region of the blood is modeled as a Casson-type non-Newtonian fluid, and the plasma layer is assumed to behave as a Newtonian fluid. The results are presented graphically and discussed thoroughly. Additionally, the findings are compared with previously reported experimental results.
