This study numerically investigates the stagnation-point flow and heat transfer over an exponentially stretching/shrinking sheet in a porous medium, considering heat generation and velocity slip. The governing partial differential equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations via similarity transformations and solved using the BVP4C solver in MATLAB. The analysis incorporates the effects of suction (s), permeability (K), slip factor (σ), Prandtl number (Pr), and heat generation (Q) on the skin friction coefficient and Nusselt number. Results reveal the existence of dual solutions for the shrinking sheet case (λ<0), with the primary branch being stable, while only a single solution exists for stretching sheets (λ>0). Key findings show that increased permeability reduces shear stress and thickens the thermal boundary layer, while velocity slip diminishes wall shear stress. Heat generation elevates fluid temperature but does not affect the velocity field or bifurcation points.
