Abstract In this paper, we mainly study the Cauchy problem of the tropical climate model in negative‐order Besov spaces. By using the iterative scheme and compactness argument, we first establish the local well‐posedness of the model and then we can extend this local solution to be global if the initial data is sufficient small.
