Given the development of technologies involving artificial neural networks and the increased use of computers, Artificial Intelligence (AI) emerges as a possibility in human activities, including educational ones. The general objective of this article is to seek an understanding of what Brazilian research on the use of AI in specific content in Mathematics Education addresses. To this end, a Systematic Mapping was carried out in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations regarding production on the topic until the year 2025. We identified 15 studies that present perspectives on the use of AI for educational activities involving Mathematics. However, there are gaps to be explored, such as the use of AI-supported environments for the construction of LAs, also contributing as a training base for current and future generative AI resources.
