Source abstract

We prove an explicit polynomial lower bound for the anticanonical volume of any complex εε-log canonical weak del Pezzo surface. More precisely, there is an explicit constant c>0c>0 such that (KX)2cε84(-K_X)^2\geq cε^{84} for every such surface and every 0<ε10<ε\leq 1.
