Source abstract
A graph is degree-truncated DP--colourable (respectively, degree-truncated -choosable) if it is DP--colourable (respectively, -choosable), where for every vertex . Hutchinson proved that every -connected maximal outerplanar graph other than the triangle is degree-truncated -choosable. Lo, Wang, Zhou and Zhu strengthened this result by proving that every -connected -minor-free graph other than cycles and complete graphs is degree-truncated DP--colourable. Outerplanar graphs are precisely the -minor-free graphs. We study how the truncation threshold grows when is replaced by , while -minor remains excluded. A bound independent of is impossible, as shown by the family . Let be the class of -connected -minor-free graphs other than cycles. Writing for the least truncation threshold valid throughout this class, we prove that, for every integer ,
