Source abstract

Aiming at the teaching problems of advanced mathematics, which are abstract, spatial, and difficult for students to understand, this paper constructs and implements a virtual reality-assisted teaching model and conducts a semester-long comparative experimental study. Taking 240 undergraduates as the research object, this paper compares and analyzes the differences between VR-assisted teaching and traditional lecture-based teaching in learning effectiveness. The research results show that VR teaching has significantly improved students' academic performance in core modules such as limit, multivariate function, and spatial analytic geometry, and the effect is large. The research shows that virtual reality, as a cognitive support tool, can effectively promote the understanding of abstract mathematical concepts and provide a reliable empirical basis for the innovation of higher mathematics teaching mode.
