Source abstract

The results of AKM at SMP Negeri 6 Pati show that students' mathematical literacy is still low. This condition shows the need for learning innovations that link mathematical concepts with real contexts through the use of technology. This study aims to design Problem-Based Learning using student worksheet assisted by MathCityMap to improve students' mathematical literacy. The method used is Design Research with three stages: preparation and design, teaching experiment, and retrospective analysis. The research sample was students of class VII A SMP Negeri 6 Pati. Data collection techniques included tests, interviews, observations, documentation, and literature studies. The validation results showed that the learning devices were in the highly valid category, with an average validation score as follows: 90% teaching module, 93.5% learning media, and 95% literacy questions. The average test results, pre-test 51 and post-test 86.7 showed an increase in students' mathematical literacy. The Paired Sample T-Test test showed a significant difference between before and after learning, and the N-Gain test showed an increase with an average score of 0.73 which means a high category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the learning device with Problem-Based Learning using Student Worksheet assisted by MathCityMap has been successfully designed valid and feasible to use.
