Source abstract
This work investigated optical soliton solutions to the perturbed Schrödinger–Hirota equation with a generalized cubic–quintic–septic nonlinearity law involving spatiotemporal dispersion. Our study employs an improved modified extended tanh‐function method to obtain a comprehensive set of 18 soliton solutions, including bright, dark, singular, periodic, and trigonometric solutions, hyperbolic solutions, Weierstrass elliptic function, and other waveforms. Furthermore, we illustrated the effect of the septic nonlinearity λ 3 and the influence of the spatiotemporal dispersion parameters α and β on the dynamics of the generated soliton. The findings are clearly shown through graphical simulations as a 3D surface plot, a 2D surface plot, and a contour plot, which describe the motion directions of optical solitons, the effects of parameters, and the dynamic behaviors of these solitons.
