Source abstract

This article contributes to the search for a better multi-criteria decision-making method for the efficient resolution of decision-making problems. In the literature, several approaches exist for solving multi-criteria decision-making problems. Faced with this diversity, the problem of choosing an appropriate method arises. It is in this context that the interest in a comparative study of the CHEMATRE method and the MACUQ method is justified. Thus, in this work, after implementing the methods, we conducted a comparative study of the MACUQ and CHEMATRE methods, both of which fall under the single-criterion synthesis approach. We then showed that for some metrics, MACUQ proved superior, while for others, CHEMATRE prevailed. However, of all the comparison metrics, there are sufficient arguments to favor the MACUQ method over the CHEMATRE method.
