The real-rootedness of the toric -contribution polynomials
Qiqi Xiao
Source abstract
Recently, Ehrenborg, Hetyei and Readdy expressed the toric -polynomial of a simple polytope as a linear combination of a family of polynomials, called -contribution polynomials, with coefficients given by the entries of its gamma-vector. They conjectured that these toric -contribution polynomials are real-rooted. This paper proves this conjecture.
