The -degree Turán densities of hypergraphs: infinite families and their finite subfamilies
Hao Lin, Wenling Zhou
Source abstract
Let be integers. For a family of -uniform hypergraphs (-graphs), its -degree Turán density is the asymptotic maximum of the normalized minimum -degree over all -free -graphs. In this paper, we prove that for all integers and every , there exists an infinite family of -graphs such that , while every finite subfamily satisfies . This confirms the conjecture of Mubayi and Zhao on codegree Turán densities for every . As an immediate consequence, the set of -degree Turán densities of nonempty -graph families is whenever , which answers a question of Lo and Markström from 2014.
